Marvel continues to release new additions to their Marvelized cover art series. The new September pieces were inspired by album covers from Wu-Tang Clan, LL Cool J, Chance The Rapper, Kevin Gates, Schoolboy Q, and Action Bronson. Check them out below.

1. LL Cool J x Luke Cage

LL Cool J’s Bigger and Deffer was transformed into a Luke Cage cover, who’s brand new Netflix series premiers September 30.

2. Kevin Gates x Jessica Jones

Kevin Gates’ album Islah got a Jessica Jones treatment in a cover called issues. Islah was recently certified platinum.

3. Chance The Rapper x Nova

Chance The Rappers newest album Coloring Book has some cool but simple cover art, leaving plenty of room for creativity from Marvel. They turned the cover into a tribute to Nova.

4. Wu-Tang Clan x Champions

My personal favorite is Wu-Tang Clan’s Iron Fist being remade for the Champions. The new cover art features Hulk and Spiderman.

5. Schoolboy Q x Doctor Strange

Schoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP was was perfect for this Doctor Strange and The Sorcerers Supreme remake, just changing the original ever so slightly.

6. Action Bronson x Solo

Action Bronson’s Rare Chandeliers album art was an interesting choice, as it was already clearly made to mimic a classic movie poster. Marvel turned it into “Solo aka James Bourne”. For those unfamiliar, Solo is a counter-terrorism operative in the Marvel Universe.

The original installment of the Marvel Hip Hop album cover art included Earl Sweatshirt, Wale, Desiigner, and King Mez.
